Hey everyone,
I recently switched from a 4G to a 5G plan both with Public. I never had any issues on 4G but switched for a better priced plan. I notice since the switch to 5G my service lags and sometimes doesn’t connect. Is anyone else having this issue? I thought I was upgrading by going to 5G but now I’m wondering if it was the right choice.

another suggestion is to reboot your cell. If no improvement, try a network re-set. (Sounds like others have had success with these suggestions, in the past)

hi @Haligal24
what phone do you have? you can use some speed test app to test speed
in fact, with a 5G plan, you can still get 5G speed on 4G or LTE network. Sol you can set your phone to 4G (or LTE) and 5G and run speed test. On either network, you should get over 100Mbps and could go as fast as 250Mpbs. Try it
if speed is below 100Mpbs for multiple attempts, ask PM agents to help. Please submit a ticket with CS Agent using Chatbot here:

try setting your cell to 4G / LTE to see if things speed up.
