2gb for 12 months

I changed my plan last month from $15 to $40 

will I get the 2gb extra for next 12 months or do I have to change carriers ?

It doesn't look like there is a specific promos tab or anything, but If you google public Mobile 2GB bonus for instance, you can actually probably find 3 diff promos. The 6 month one, the 12 month one and the unlimited one, and if yiu sign up and activate the proper way, you could probably get any of the 3 right now.

Also if you activate a new plan just to get the year of extra data then you would be under the new rewards program. Not sure how long you have been a customer and the kind of reoccurring rewards you were acquiring but for that and the other reasons in this thread, it may not be worth it for you.

Suggestion as @AE_Collector works but there are cost to it.  SIM cards, one or two (some mobile kiosk might give you the SIM for free)   The minimum plan change when you port out.  Maybe $15 if you port out to like Chatr or Lucky?  But current promotion is just 2GB for 12 months?  I don't know if it worth it.

The changing carriers then porting back to PM as a new account would only be needed if you need to keep your existing number. Otherwise you can start a new account here with a new number whenever you want to. BUT, I don’t know if that 2GB bonus for 12 months is even available at the moment. It keeps changing. And there was a way to get the 2GB bonus permanently in the past… by signing up online rather than at a dealer?

Promo is for new customers/accounts only.

How did you change your $15 plan to $40? If you schedule it to change on next renewal and that is few days ahead, there are few options for you.

- You can remove autopay and CC info from current account. Account will be suspended for no payment and closed after 90 days

- Use new email, get new SIM and open new account and get bonus you want.

Changing carriers is up to you.

That promotion is for new customers only.  So existing customers who change plans to meet the plan requirement for the bonus are not eligible.

No and up to you. You would have to start a new account to get promos.

Nope. Promo is for NEW accounts only. You just upgraded existing plan being 'old' customer.
