Hi , I want to buy a plan and transfer from another company to Public. What do you mean when you say:

20GB + BONUS 40GB of data for use within Canada, US & Mexico at 5G speed up to 250 Mbps. Does it mean 60 GB every month during contract period?

It's just a fancy way of saying 60GB

And once you joined, it will be 60GB every cycle and not just for limited number of months

Yes. You will get 60GB of data max every month.

Before you port over your number, I would STRONGLY advise you sign up first with a SIM card you already purchased and then once signed up, make sure you can make and take calls, texting works both ways and data works. This way, if there is a problem of some kind, you won't be stuck without a phone. Then you can log into your account and port your number over. Just make sure your other account you're porting from is active.
