I have just confirmed service after some porting issues. I have created an account on the PM App. When I login it takes me to a versification process and the first step sends a code to my email. Then it asks me to provide a second verification and asks me verify a number to a number that has been canceled by my previous provider.

can you receiving other inbound text or any inbound calls?

if the porting is not completed yet, you won't get any inbound calls and text but the validation text will be sent to your old carrier's sim card

if porting is done, then the validation text will be send to you .  And if you login the first time after the account is activated, 2FA via sms is the only way to validate.  After it is validated the first time, you will have option to get it via email or voicemail

so, if you still have trouble, just message support agent for help

If you ported your number then 2FA should go to that number on your PM account.

Verify what number you have calling somebody and asking them to tell you number they see.
