I have just topped up with a 15$ payment but data usage is still at 0

Had 15$ as available funds.  Then applied 2 payments of 5$ each towards data add ons.

@Heyman5   if you try to renew your plan early, you need to contact PM support to help. 

 

Adding $15 to your account won't do anything at all .  So, if you need renewa early,   Please open ticket with PM support

 

1. Please open ticket via Chatbot (need access to My Account): At https://publicmobile.ca/chatbot.

Start by typing "Submit a ticket", then click "Contact Us", Then click "Other", then click "Click here to submit a ticket ↗" 

2. If you have trouble with Chatbot or you don't have access to My Account: Private message CS Agent at:

**Monitor your Community inbox (envelope icon on the top right) after the ticket is opened.  CS Agent will reply to you there

The add-on would show up on the right side (if on desktop). See that image above from Handy1? The red bar is the data line. Yours would say 250MB of course. Are you seeing 0 in the middle and 250MB left on the lower right. Or do you see the solid red bar like that saying all used?

Did you turn on your mobile cellular data? Are you in Canada?

If you don't use data then the usage would of course remain 0 or close to 0.

 

Adding - wait...are you buying roaming data? The only $10 data is roaming. Where are you?

What did you apply the $15.00 payment to?

 

Did you just apply it to your Available Funds balance?

 

It won't do anything there - it would need to be used to purchase a data add-on for your data to work.

Yes I tried that but still no go.  I have added 10$ data add on but that did not make a difference

@Heyman5 - is your account status ACTIVE? Note, any addons only work on ACTIVE accounts.

If you have an active plan but run out of data, topping up doesn't give you more.  You would need to buy a data add-on, renew your plan early, or switch to a different plan.
