@makkahn28, depends on the OS running on the device. All 3 major phone OS manufacturers have phone tracking capabilities.

Android: https://www.google.ca/android/devicemanager

iOS: https://support.apple.com/kb/PH2700?locale=en_US

Windows: http://www.windowsphone.com/en-ca/how-to/wp7/basics/find-a-lost-phone

@stpnorm,

I'm sorry to hear that you lost your phone but Public Mobile cannot retrieve your phone for you.

If you have activated the location option, you can track it by yourself, else you are lost.

You can temporarily disable your cellular service. This can be done by logging to your self serve account here, then come back here and click on Phone-lost-or-stolen.

You can also disable auto-pay (if configured) from your self serve account here.

You can order a new SIM card for FREE by going here.

To get a new smartphone that will work on Public Mobile, you have to purchase a phone unlocked or locked to Telus/Koodo.

I suggest you Telus (online only), Apple, Google Nexus, Microsoft, Staples, Best buy, Costco and Walmart

Telus/Koodo/Public Mobile frequency are :

3G UMTS/HSDPA = (850MHz / 1900MHz)
4G LTE band 4 = (2100MHz / 1700MHz)
4G LTE-Advanced = 700MHz

We hope that you will be back ASAP on Public Mobile !
