@Martin What is it about the holidays that brings out the worst of complainers? Is it like this every year? I'm debating if I should temporarily halt my visits to this community for the next 2 weeks, just to shield myself form all the vile negativity.

Hello,
Considering that you introduced the element of Canada-centricity, I suggest that you go further and demonstrate consistency by destroying your Chinese-made phone, sold by a company headquartered in China or the USA. While in the privacy of your home, check the labels of all clothing, and destroy those items not made entirely in Canada. Don't forget your TV and other appliances. If not manufactured entirely in Canada, destroy them.

If you feel like your legal rights are being violated, the forum to go to about that would be the court system, and not the PM community. I highly doubt we have a sitting judge in our midst who is qualified and empowered to take up complaints such as yours from community threads, in order to start a legal proceeding. All the best if you decide to take this to court - I'm not a lawyer in any way, but I suspect that you may have your work cut out for you.

This contest is illegal. It is not open to all. A purchase is necessary. as you have to be able to text your answer and/or be a member of various American owned social networks. I am sick and tired of companies getting away with this type of nonsense and will no longer be a client of Public Mobile or Telus. If you are Canadian who follows the law with an ounce of pride; you will join me and say No; I won't support this. Thankyou.

Cette initiative de propager la joie commence mal. D'abord le 1er jour, je vous donne la reponse 40, vous dites que c'est faux.Vous me demandez de repondre encore; quand je le fais , je recois le message: "desole! Une erreur est survenue. Veuillez reessayer"
Je reessaie et je recolte le meme message de nombreuse fois.
Ensuite le jour 2 de votre initiative il faut repondre via TWITTER. C'est quoi ca? A mon age (67 ans) pour participer, je dois apprendre a utiliser TWITTER, pourquoi pas Facebook ou Youtube pendant que vous y etes. J;ai toujours pense que pour particper, il fallait uniquement avoir un plan Public Mobile et donc un telephone. Mais apparemment cela ne suffit pas. Ce qui fait que votre initiave aboutit a un stress du a la frustration generee par votre manque d'empathie. Vous n'avez pas les Clients en tete quand vous prenez ce genre d'intiative. Parce que vous vous connaissez en reseaux sociaux, vous pensez que tout le monde s'y connait aussi. Dites nous aussi quelles connaissances il faut avoir pour participer a la propagation de la joie.
Quand on fait du Customer Service, on doit etre accessible au Client et parler le language du Client et ne pas partir du principe qu'il connait ou comprend votre language/specialite ou metier.
Maintenant retournons a la question du 1er jour: c'etait le resultat de (10x5)+(14÷7) -12=?
Quelle est la reponse d'apres vous?. J'ai eu des doutes.
En conclusion, si c'est pour "enerver" les gens que vous avez ce genre d'intiatives, abstenez vous; cela sera mieux ainsi.
Dommage que Public Mobile soit ainsi

I see there are lots of users made brand new account just for this, so you can too.
I also see many users tweeted multiple times and did not mention required tags. Hopefully, they read the rules again and remove previous entry to submit another.

Hey, thanks for your prompt reply! I have never used twitter in my life to actually tweet stuff I just created my account a while ago to follow. I think I did it right. I just put someone that needs to be "refreshed" in my life and I addded these things (I don't know what they call them) @PublicMobile

Can someone help me understand how you actually participate? I already resusitated my twitter account for the sole purpose of participating but every time I click on the link it brings me to the mian page of the 14 days of give-aways. Then back to the post...it's like a loop. I don't get it.
Does one get an actual message on their browser saying, you have entered the draw! or at least some sort of confirmation?
