Public Mobile 14 Days of Giveaways – Day 1
CONTEST RULES
On December 8, 2015 Public Mobile customers will have an opportunity to enter Day 1 of the Public Mobile 14 Days of Giveaways. Entrants will have the chance to win 1 of 300 $10 Indigo gift cards.
- HOW TO ENTER:
- Entrants must be a Public Mobile customer who subscribe to a wireless text plan.
- Entrants must send an SMS to short code 5130. SMS must include the following information:
(i) your email address; and
(ii) the correct answer to the following skill testing question (10x5) + (14÷7) – 12.
Maximum one (1) entry per entrant. This contest is intended for Canadian residents and will be interpreted according to Canadian law. Contest runs one day only on December 8, 2015 10:00 AM EST to December 8, 2015 23:59 PM EST. No purchase necessary.
- PRIZING
There will be three hundred (300) prizes awarded in total. Each winner will receive one (1) $10 Indigo gift card.
Prize must be accepted as awarded. Prizes will be sent to all winners by email. No telephone contact or correspondence will be entered into except with the winning entrant. Public Mobile reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equivalent value and/or to terminate or withdraw this contest at any time. The chances of winning are dependent upon the total number of eligible entries received.
3. THE DRAW
A random draw for all 300 Prizes will take place at the Public Mobile office located at 25 York St, Toronto ON M5J 2V5, on December 9, 2015 12 PM EST by a Public Mobile representative. The selected entrants will be notified by SMS and email approximately 24 to 48 hours from the draw date. If the selected entrant cannot be reached within 3 business days, or if the selected entrant does not meet all of the contest rules, another entrant will be selected from the remaining eligible entries. To win the prize the selected entrant will be required to correctly answer the mathematical skill-testing question set out in the How to Enter section.
- RELEASE
By entering the contest and accepting the Prize all entrants hereby agree to release and forever discharge Public Mobile, the Contest Sponsors, associates, contractors, consultants, advertising and promotional agencies, affiliates, predecessor or parent corporations, partners, and all of the present and former directors, officers, agents and employees of any of the above, including all of their successors, heirs, executors, administrators and assigns (the “Releasees”), from any and all causes of action, claims, losses, demands, damages, costs, liabilities, charges and expenses whatsoever, which the entrant may have against the Releasees or any one of them, arising out of or resulting from their use, misuse or possession of the Prize.
- ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for Day 1 of the Public Mobile 14 Days of Giveaways contest, entrants must be an existing Public Mobile customer who subscribes to a wireless Public Mobile text plan and who successfully submit their entries on or before the contest closing date.
This contest is open to all residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority according to the laws of the Province where they reside. This contest excludes employees of TELUS Corporation, its affiliated companies or subsidiaries, its advertising and promotional agencies and members of their respective immediate families and any person domiciled with any of the above.
- ENTRIES
All entries become the property of Public Mobile. Public Mobile assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected entries or for any failure of the website, for any problems or technical malfunction of any computer online systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail, mobile device or entry to be received by Public Mobile on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from this contest. TELUS reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, cancel or suspend this contest should a virus, bug or other cause beyond the reasonable control of Public Mobile and its advertising and promotional agencies, corrupt the security or proper administration of the contest or for any other reason. Entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are illegible, mechanically reproduced, mutilated, forged, falsified, altered or tampered with or unlawful in any way. Entries submitted by unauthorised means or by spamming will be disqualified. In the event that it has been determined that an entry has been made in an manner not sanctioned by these rules and/or an entrant has submitted more than the number of entries permitted by these rules, the entrant and all of his/her entries will be disqualified. Entrants agree to abide by the contest rules and the decisions of the contest judges, which are final. This contest is subject to all applicable laws and regulations.
- PRIVACY
By entering the contest, entrants consent to the use of their names, city of residence, photograph, voice and/or image for publicity purposes in all media used by Public Mobile, without payment or compensation. Entrants agree to Public Mobile’s use of the entrants’ personal information that may include contacting you regarding limited time offers, promotional offers and/or surveys. 8. QUEBEC RESIDENTS
Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
