Switched from google.pixel to Samsung a71 and now can't send or receive picture text messages and the occasional regular text will also fail to send

the only thing i would add to this answer is that you need to make an account in the community, seperate from the activation account, that tripped me up for a bit, others might have the same issue.

i would try resetting the phones, but that would be a total shot in the dark.
