I had an issue last month b/c I had received a renewal card. The account number stays the same but the expiry date changed as well as the 3 digits on the back of my card. I forgot to change the 3 digits on my Public Account so it was denied.

I have Canada wide long distance and I never dial 1 before. I have never had a problem this way, but I have had problems dialling 1-800 numbers if I don't remove the 1.

I had the same issue a few months back. It turned out it was the way the phone numbers were formatted. It worked when I switched to the area code in brackets then the phone number with no spaces and no hyphen Eg (555)5555555. Adding 1 before any 8...

I get the "Sorry" message anytime I call any number within Canada if I add the "1" before the area code. Because I have the Canada-wide calling, any numbers called within Canada aren't considered long distance.
