I am a new customer. I brought my phone number from fonus mobile. I can use my phone number for calling and network but cannot use texting. I cannot register my PM number to apple id and imessage. What can I do for it?

I have asked to port my phone number from fonus mobile. It seemed to finish successfully but I still receive call and text on fonus app. Public mobile app indicates my phone number there. What do I need to do to port my phone number from fonus mobile...
