paid for us network and data add ons the data works intermittently the cellular network will not connect at all unless i am connected to a wifi network how do i fix it edit: roaming is on. i am using signal messenger. phone is an android j3

phone and sim card were both bought brand new from wal mart about a year and a half ago.  phone worked in the morning yesterday, took it out of my pocket around 1300 to see "unregistered sim card" in the top left corner of the lock screen. can't call...
