Hi can somebody on a 5g plan do a speed test while the device is on LTE? I would like to know if there is a higher average speed with a 5g plan or if it stays below 100mbps. preferably in the Vancouver and surrounding areasthanks ||@

just wanted to update the community with the new plans in our self serve accounts 4g lte$40/10gb$50/20gb$65/30gbim surprised pm hasn't decided to compete with any US calling options like lucky and chatr have or update their 3g speed to 10mbps(chatr)....

@muffin_top yesPM only has access to the slower bands for 5g. Telus has higher frequency bands(3500mhz n78)

@PMHehe that doesn't make any logical sense... what are your current savings at PM? $6?$40 - $6 = $34/60gb what other company is offering that? maximum price would be $33 after one more year and possibilities of better offers in the near future

@MohammadShaikh you need to confirm if your devices are using "volte" which I'm pretty sure they aren't since both devices were purchased in america

@MohammadShaikh they were purchased in the US so I am sure they should be compatible to North American standardsunfortunately, that is most likely the main cause 5g doesn't work on your devices.
