@Handy1 , at least the way you’re doing it that keeps you in an updated iPhone & you all win. You don’t lose in the long run. I looked into sending mine to apple to trade with a discount off but doing it that way I would lose to much even though it’s in mint condition in a case & screen protector!

@LitlLdy  If I was a wise consumer I would do the same . How ever I’ve already promised my daughter the 16 which works out well because she will be 16 next Oct and it’s sorts the thing I’ve been doing giving her my old one each year for her b day  then I’ll sell it the following year and keeps them in rotation for a bit before I sell it for new one just sold her 14 and gave her my 15  so this way we both win . But now she wants the Apple Watch but she gonna have to wait for x mas for that tech . At least with iPhone  release it lines up with her b day

@WillyWanka  I actually use Telus for myself personally . I have this old PM account that costs me $2 a month if I don’t help out in community that month , I give that to a friend to use. But also i get the new one to hand down my old phone from GF to the daughter so for me it works . And by the time I sell the 3rd phone it’s basically cost me $100 a month to keep us all with new phone the following year . And that’s today worth it to me

It’s none of my business, I fully realize and acknowledge that, but I’m wondering why someone who buys the latest and greatest iPhone each year chooses public mobile as their carrier.  What is it that keeps you on a prepaid plan like those offered by public mobile?   Why not use a “full service” carrier like Bell, Rogers, or Telus?

@hTideGnow  Yes not being eSIM only phone is excellent news . 

@WillyWanka  waiting  for the 17 is good idea , but so then waiting for the iPhone 18 be Ben Better idea . To combat this I will just get the new one each year and then I don’t have to worry  about waiting . 

@LitlLdy  I’m sure all the models can last 7 years , and I will take some photos when I get it in my hands as for a review I’m biased won’t be much to share other then it will be the very best iPhone I have had yet , and next year when iPhone 17 comes out it will take the place of the 16 .
