Your modem with built-in Wi-Fi router could tell everyone where you live

If you are using a ISP modem with build-in wifi router function, disable the IPv6 and enable the IPv4 only just in case the modem/router combo box is still embedded the device MAC address in the IPv6 address.

Congratulation if you disable the built-in router function provided by your ISP and use your own WiFi router.  You are safe.

I have always hated these type of routers as their coverage is not the greatest and the security is also weak. I suggest that people just get a secondhand router and hook it up to their modem if money is a an issue.
