Wifi calling

Hi all. I’m a bit confused is wifi calling the same as VoLTE?  If not what’s the difference?     Thanks

Two separate features.

Here is information on VoLTE:

VoLTE is available with PM customers with certain phones.

Wifi calling is not available for PM customers. 

This features allows you to call and message (text and multimedia) over Wi-Fi when you have little or no cellular coverage

I think I figured it out VoLTE uses cellular data and wifi calling uses wifi only?
