I was searching for Public Mobile SIMs on Amazon and found one for $4.99. It’s a SIM for or from Mexico. Will this SIM work with Public Mobile in Canada?

@BKNS27 no, the end date on 2025 is just a rumour so far. In fact, insider in this business mentioned that the date will be postponed or a year or more
So @WillyWanka don't worry about the end of 3G. However, the phone you mentioned (Samsung GT-i5510m) is not a phone fully compatible on PM's 3G network. You will get frequent drop calls. Also, the phone is very old itself, so it might not work well on any network. I would suggest you to check for new phone. Even a old style flip phone under $100 will work will for voice

So you’re saying that I’m going to have to get a new phone. I was afraid of that.

all PM sim cards will work on phone with sim slot
however, your problem is with the phone. Samsung GT-i5510m is a 2G/3G phone. The phone's has only one band (850) that is compatible with PM's network. So, basically it shouldn't be used on PM network or you will have lots of drop calls and data won't be stable

Yes, that's it. Do you know if it will work in my Samsung GT-i5510m?

PM doesn’t have service in Mexico so I am surprised that it would advertise that the country of origin is Mexico on Amazon. PM only offer service in Canada and the USA.

were you using this link from Amazon?
https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B06X9ZGDWG/
this is a good one sold by Public Mobile. It is $4.99 instead of $10 because it is the old design, but same functionality, no difference at all

Do you know if public mobile SIM cards from Amazon work? I found one on Amazon for $4.99 but it’s from Mexico. Do you know if it will work?
A penny saved is a penny earned, as they say.
