Midway through my second month of service I wanted to share my own experience with Public Mobile:

My Two-Week Review of Public Mobile

It was posted to HowardForums last December but holds true today. The community homepage might suggest that Public is a terrible service — absolutely not the case for me. Chime in if you agree!

I switched from Virginmobile after being with them for about 10 years because they were going to raise my rate with no increase in service  I’ve been with PM for about 5 months now and so far I’m very happy with the service.  So far no complaints and everything works as it should

@addonsnotworkin  You still haven't used ever safe??

Yes, I had my issues with it but I was already activated by the time it came in.  First when Eversafe came in I couldn't log in because it decided my existing PM password didn't match specifications.   Fixed that and then ported in my number but Eversafe kept sending the log in code to the previous number.  I found out I had to go in to the Eversafe profile and change it manually.   Once that was all sorted out it's been fine since, no issues.

No complaints here either, although I was fortunate in signing up before the introduction of the app and Eversafe, so it was easier then!

@Curbot - It is fantastic review you have gotten! I joined Public because Virgin Plus (Bell) wouldn't change to a plan that I got a text for, and also that my phone term just ended (Kept Phone) and went with Public. It is amazing to see people showing off what they think about Public Mobile.

Also, Public Mobile's "Unlimited Data at Reduced Speeds" are quite better than Bell's 5G Unlimited (250mbps, not 5G+) plan. Bell has 256kbps unlimited reduced speed rather than Public Mobile's 512kbps unlimited reduced speed.

The service istself is fine.  The weak aspects about Public Mobile largely have to do with the Self Serve systems.
