How to gain Oracle status on The Community?

I am wondering if there's a specific formula that I can follow to gain the Oracle status on the community or if it is just awarded at random?

@MATTHEWS  - It can be at times when there are a lot of questions on the Forum. It may even be lower due to some oracle accounts helping people that speak French.

8 oracles is a very low number.

Oracles are handpicked. As of right now we have 8 oracles. Not everyone receives the Oracle rank. It comes with a lot of responsibilities and you need lots of bravos, solutions, posts and great knowledge of how Public Mobile works to be even considered for the rank. It does get you $20 off your bill every month if you reach the Oracle rank.

@MATTHEWS - I believe for the other status' the system picks out their status automatically after you reach a goal that they have all the time. It's like when you create an account you get status "New In Town" then after you post a question you become a "Great Neighbour."

Just help people out and hope that you get Mayor Status. You will probably have to be a Deputy Mayor, but Handy1 got mayor status about 6 months ago and he didn't have to be a Deputy Mayor at all!

@MATTHEWS - There isn't really a formula for gaining the Oracle Status. PM Representatives will sometimes review their current Oracles and may add some. But you will have to help the community out a lot to get that Status!

You will also likely have to have Mayor Status, which is 2nd to the highest of the list (Not including Retired Status).
