Very concerning that it can be done relatively easily.  Hopefully the carriers are working on this to prevent this from being easily done.  It always seem like the the criminals are one step ahead of every new technology.

I have fallen victim to this scam recently.  Public Mobile moderators have not resonded to any of my private messages to address this yet.  This is very concerning as it is very easy to swap SIM cards in a Public Mobile account.  Furthermore, I cannot confirm that the fraudsters actually gained access to my PM account to do the swap.  Hopefully PM gets back to me so I can understand how this truely happened.

Thanks for sharing.  Phone number is becoming more and more a part of the identity package that is treated a secure.  It is unfortunate because it is about as secure as someones name.
