I'd love a "Public Mobile Snapshot" app that summarizes my usage (data, addons), top-up date, account balance. 

One tap to simple and quick account information.

I am thinking there probably is almost 100 threads on this not just 100 bravos.  @borrowedcarbon   if you can find them and add to it that would help

The commonly suggested workaround is to create a shortcut directly to the selfservice page on your phone's homescreen.

The link provided by @borrowedcarbon is the right one to up vote if you'd like to support a mobile app from PM.  That is the thread with the most votes, out of many that have suggested the idea.  Thanks for linking it, @borrowedcarbon.
