multiple line on a single account

Can we make it so that you can get multiple lines on a single account for convenience sake? It'd also probably be more efficient on your system too rather then having a lot of dummy accounts for some people who need multiple lines and make it more convenient for families, since the person who is aware of how PM works could setup a new line for family members easier.

I agree, since I'm about to bring over my wife to PM shortly.  Perhaps there are limitations with the system that is used but it would be nice to see this in the future.

How would you think the pricing would be? A savings of $5 per line added to each plan?  

Example: you pay $55 for 30 days and you add your wife. Your wife pays $50 for 30 days and you add your son and it would be $45 for 30 days. All in one data bucket?

This has been suggested in the Public Lab already.   Likely will never happen but still no harm in asking to reinforce the need. It would at least match what other carriers offer.  Even Freedom offers it.

Again, this is a no frills service.  You want convenience, go to the bigger players.

This is how we keep the prices lower, we don't have all the added conveniences.

Asked for many times, unlikely to be implemented. I like your "more efficient" angle, but with the number of accounts that PM has, "too many accounts" is definitely not a huge issue (from a database perspective, any way). Not to mention building a system to merge existing accounts would be a nightmare.

Don't even bring Freedom (wind) into this, they are a third tier carrier. They are way worse than Chatr.

@Raven_Jet, you gotta call it like it is.  Freedom has a much better portal than Public Mobile and their better together savings is pretty sweet.  In the almost 5 years of time I was with them, I never had any issues with accessing the self serve features, changing credit cards, payment, you name it.  Even when the account was closed, that work perfectly, refund of balance was issued as expected.  It is a bit of a race between how third world the Freedom network is compared to the Public Mobile portal.  Fortunately, we have interface with the portal here and there, whereas the network is in our face every minute of the day.

@will13am  exactly... I was using Freedom as an example for their portal/self serve and ability to add many numbers to one account.  That is what the OP is hoping for, so was providing an example of how it should be.

This would be great for kids. We now manage tons of accounts.

This would also be a great way to reintroduce the 1GB $30 plan! (as a sub-plan).

This would be awesome, until then the Prepaid option keeps everything neat and orderly for now!
