Wi-Fi calling

Any chances that public mobile will or planning to offer Wi-Fi calling in future. Like fm. Also is that right Wi-Fi calling only work if you buy a phone from carrier. If that's true then its more likely pm won't ever offer Wi-Fi calling since its all byod plan. ? Or is there a way around and chances of getting Wi-Fi calling in future. Just curious

FYI, rogers doesn't even turn on VoLTE unless they recognize the phone, lol. So you could have a perfectly capable VoLTE headset and they don't provision VoLTE.

It's nice that PM has HD Voice over 3G though.

I don't expect wifi calling and VOLTE until they are forced, but it would be nice. I mean from the perspective of telus, there needs to be many reasons to choose telus and koodo over public. Now personally, I think  customer service via forums at public mobile counts for a lot, since Public requires hardly any employees, but I can understand features like VOLTE, wifi calling and name display not being implemented, even if they are very easy to do. One thing we shouldn't forget though is that even though a lot of people are getting 4gb for 38 bucks, this isn't the regular price of Public Mobile and when Fido has a deal, its only $5 more for for 4gb a month and has name display, wifi calling, VOLTE, stores, and real customer service. So even though Public Mobile is a bargain company, other companies that provide full service are sometimes only a couple dollars more per month.
