VoLTE & WiFi Calling

I believe VoLTE and WiFi Calling has been implemented by multiple carriers. (Telus, Ro****, Fi**, Be**, Vi****, etc.)

I also recently saw that Koodo is currently testing VoLTE and WiFi Calling.

PM probably won't have VoLTE and WiFi Calling in the near future since it is a prepaid service but it would benefit a lot of users if PM eventually implement them.

I don't think it's an unreasonable request since Telus/Koodo/PM all share the same network infrastructure so it's just a matter of testing and implementing it at PM even though it may not be the first thing on the list.

I would rather PM focus on fixing what it current does before implementing new things.  Also koodo and Telus need to offer some additional things to encourage people to "upgrade".

There are network efficiencies in VoLTE.  That said, it will come.

Though PM said not for us for Wi-Fi Call, VoLTE is a different matter, and Hoping PM does have the common courtesy to explore this potential

3g works fine for now I'd rather they focus on fixing their website bugs first before that and would the VoLTE count towards data usage?

@Shutdown the VoLTE is considered phone call. It does not count towards data usage.

I do understand that PM has some items that should be fixed / polished (Activation, website, etc.) first but some effort should go towards implementing new features.

As a relatively new company, PM should primarily focus on providing a functional service for end users but VoLTE should be included in their list of new features since they have the infrastructure to do so.

It's worthwhile to note that previously the VoLTE option on my S8+ was greyed out, and I checked the other day and I can now toggle it on/off. Maybe they are trying it out? It still doesn't work for me but it's a good sign I guess.

using google hangouts for wifi calls in canada when my LD. minutes are over and it works pretty good ... but would like something for the US and overseas
