Can you shorten the title of public mobile to just public on iPhones. I don't see any reason to have such a long carrier name on the status bar. The word mobile is not necessary.
On Android we dont see it, unless we expand the notification bar. I think this is a setting on the sim, and if PM decides to change it, all Iphone users will probably have to get new sims. I suggest looking for other solutions specific to iPhones.
Are you sure it's a setting via sim and not controlled elsewhere. I'm pretty sure it's controlled by the carrier file and if so public can easily update their file and presto shorter logo.
not sure, guessing. I dont remember exactly but when we moved from WM to FM, I dont think the network name changed for people using the old sim. I could be wrong
Lol, the rest of the world must bend to the whims of the iPhone. I have no problems on android. If only Apple could improve their UI. Android is open source, so Apple could steal shamelessly.
