Not sure bout that. I know that PM has their data set up so that when you reach your allocated data cap, UNLESS Add-On data is in your Account, Data shuts off Automatically.
If this is what you were mentioning about Shock Data, then this would be it
@Pier what is shock free data? You've lost us here. You will never, ever, get an overage charge with PM, as it's simply not possible with their prepaid model. By definition, their data offerings are shock free. I'm lost.
@Pier Public is already "shock free" even if system works differently than Koodo does
Here once you hit your data allowance they cut you off. No overage charges ever happen
BUT with one small caveat; Public WILL let you exceed your data limit for certain things if you test it (usually small packets, stuff like messaging apps or emails). They will block things like games or downloads outright.
