Pretty much like it sounds. I know a youth who uses all their data within about 6 weeks. Obviously they have no data left until the plan renews unless they buy add ons. If I were their parent I'd like to put a self imposed data cap of 4gb every 30 days. I think it would be great for parents who manage their children's accounts.

Yes, it is a good idea.  Or at least let user set its own limit per 30 days.

Yes,that's what I'm thinking, the customer or parent chooses their own limit

My friend goes through his data so fast. Always buying add ons. I personally set my own limit on my phone.

Honestly people need to learn data management if they always go through data in a few months.

I agree, I usually end each cycle with at least 5GB left over.

@xCameron94x, we all have our own priorities. Who cares if others choose to do things their way. We are all responsible adults and we should not require others to tell us what to do.

Its a good learning experience.  the parents should not buy data addons so the youth learns to manage data themselves or buys the addon themselves with their own money.  When I was a kid we sisters and i were give a bag of MnMs,  mine of course were gone immediately and my sisters much slower.  needless to say i eventually learnt to ration my bag to last longer.

I know mydata manager lets me know if i go  over my daily limit of data and i believe it can cut off data as well.

Trust me, there are no add ons being bought. She'll go without data for the next 6 weeks.

@Rockdaddy22 don't mind the idea, but find it unlikely to be adopted.  Sounds a bit too "frilly" for the less for "less" mantra.  😞

I wonder if it's something difficult or expensive to implement. It doesn't bother me, I end every cycle with lots of data 🙂
