This is not my original idea, I noticed it in general discussions. (I'll add the username later today)

I want to use Ugo wallet for "tap to pay" that is available in many Canadian retail stores. In future, perhaps Canada will see implementation of the Google and/or Samsung payment solution as well.

Cheers!

@Igor_M I wouldn't mind paying $20 for an NFC-enabled SIM card. I'm guessing I'm not alone in that category. Rather than looking at this as a cost saving measure, I suggest you look at this as a potential untapped revenue source for PM.

I would also be willing to pay a small fee for an NFC sim.

This has been a pretty quiet topic but I am interested in knowing if there is any movement on NFC-enables SIM cards internally at Public. As mentioned above, I would also be willing to pay a small fee to receive the SIM card if required for use with UGO Wallet, Apple Pay or soon Android Pay.

Triple punch simcard is nothing new, all carriers have had that for years.  We need PM to work on getting NFC sims, if they are more expensive to produce, we would gladly pay for that. It just isnt fair that they have been around for 3 years and all PM can say if that they are proud of their triple punch out sim...
