Public should consider allowing Canada Post locations sell Public Mobile Vouchers, They're easier to find, Less BFS, and straightforward. 7-11 is also another place PM should consider, Plenty of locations, and not too hard to miss. Money-Mart, gas stations is kinda awkward. Best Buy, Wal-Mart, even Koodo locations should do this. The Voucher system as is is Broken

Hey @makkahn28 I don't think 7-Eleven would support Public Mobile as they endorse SpeakOut Wireless which uses Rogers network. I think if they offered the vouchers at places like Best Buy, Wal-Mart, or Koodo people would expect their wireless departments to have access to their accounts and such, which could cause some frustration between customers and those retail employees.

I think places like Shoppers Drug Mart or Canadian Tire would be good candidates.

ATM-like self-serve booths strategically placed in shopping malls (common areas) would work. Maybe a little spot next to the ATM's or vending machines.  Like we already discussed in the past, it can dispense new sim cards.  It can also be designed to take cash/debit/credit payments and give out vouchers.

Out of curiosity, why do people even buy vouchers when you could pay with your credit card (considering you have one) or VISA Debit? Even if you have poor credit ratings you could always preload a credit card with money to prove you have money.

@neo, some ppl don't like CC's, for some reason, or are more old fashioned. Vouchers are unfortunately a fact of life. Locations still matter

Curious to how many people actually buy vouchers than use credit cards. Personally the only advantage I could see in having more locations is more public awareness while curious customers wait in line at the grocery store. Hard to imagine that slight inconvenient is going to stop people from using PM.

i think this is a great idea.. this would be more easier then trying to find gas station that sells them.

@neo,

i was one of the few people who had problems registering my credit card and was forced to use vouchers to activate my phone. Vouchers are great alternatives and we need them. The goods news is ..after 1 week I was finally able to register my credit card.
