Prevent common problem of forgotten passwords

The community forum has several users consistently complaining about forgotten passwords and an inability to access accounts. It'd be awesome for PM to partner with a password manager such as 1Password (a company also from Toronto) by recommending the service in email or online web page to assist with both strengthening personal account security and avoiding forgotten credentials.

They should just fix the recovery email issue. Ie the when the email link arrives it isn't expired. Doing that will fix the issue.

In all seriousness, anyone not using LastPass or 1Password in 2017 is doing it wrong.  Seroiusly.

While using a service such as 1Password or Google's Smart Lock (built into the Chrome browser and syncs across devices) to remember your password can be helpful, there are scenarios where someone may not want to have their credentials saved and would prefer to type them in manually. 

The bigger issue at hand here is that the password recovery system for self-serve needs to be fixed so that it functions correctly and sends out the recovery e-mail quickly since it seems like these emails are either severely delayed or in some cases do not arrive at all. 

A lot of the recent posts about not being able to log in or recover passwords are likely linked to an iissue with the activation system where the activation partially goes through and you will receive an e-mail with your account details, but your e-mail address and password for Self-Serve won't work and service may or may not have been provisioned correctly. So that also needs to be resolved.
