I don't really know how to say this clearly, because I'm not great with words, but I would like to let you know that it is very unclear that there are several different types of accounts to sign up for!. 

My troubles started when my SIM didnt arrive for two months ( It still hasnt arrived), and I tried to find some way to contact a MOD or other for help, but the community and my account were unaccessible to me. I tried several times to register by putting in my phone number but because it is not a PublicMobile number yet, it wont register! Finally I accidentally clicked a link which allowed me to create an account to participate on these forums! What this tells me is that there are different types of accounts and different ways to register.

 

All that I am proposing is that you put it on the website that registering your number and registering for the community are different, and require different steps.

My Account at the top right corner of the site in orange is to access your account specifics related to your sim, phone numbers, etc.

 

Please clarify where you see registering. If you click on 'My Account', it says the following on the right side.

You'll need:

An Email Address

Your Public Mobile Phone Number

 

If you click on community, you see sign in at the top right and clicking on that brings you to a login prompt where you can click on 'New User? Register Here' to create a new community account to post messages and reach mods.

 

My Account and the community are two separate entities, and you reach the mods via the community where it is free to sign up without a sim/public mobile number. So if you have details on your sim order, please reach a mod as follows. Alternatively, you can pick up sims for the same price at walmart, wow mobile boutique, and k mobilet (https://publicmobile.ca/en/on/ and then click on 'get a sim'). Hope this helps.

 

Please include all the following that might be applicable

sim#, phone#, email used during activation, and detailed description of what happened.
