I used Waze today for the first time. It was good and free. But I noticed that 10MB data used for 1.5 hours from Mississauga to Toronto (Really heavy traffic). 

What if PM contact some company such as Waze... as its Partner and Provide some special data offer only for particular app/company product/partner...

For example, $5 unlimted data add-on only for Waze app user....

Just a thought, let's discuss.

I'm strongly opposed to the idea of telecom companies favouring one type of content over another. Net neutrality is important to be able to maintain healthy competition for services available on the public internet.

@Bigmac While I empathize with your need to be able to use a certain app without draining your data usage for the month, I would urge you to strongly consider removing this idea. I think such a system, if implemented, would spell doom for innovation and competition when it comes to new kinds of services and apps. Such a mechanism would ensure that companies with deeper pockets (such as the Googles and Microsofts of the world) have more access to consumers than other, smaller and financially struggling (but unique and innovative) startups.

Why i am thinking about this idea is I use BBM and almost all the provider offer such deal for BBM
