Hi guys

I think the province-wide talk option is not so useful. It causes some issues such as the wrong recognization long distance number. I saw some people complain about this. I also faced several times. If PM can provide a certain minute such as 500 mins Canada-wide instead of province-wide talk, it will more useful. Of course, both unlimited province-wide talk and a certain minute Canada-wide talk plan can both exist. Thanks

I respectfully disagree, to me province wide talk is exactly what I need and I think it is indeed useful to many. And you can already get a certain number of Canada wide minutes by buying add-ons, which as a bonus do not expire.

I would like to see an add-on for provincial talk minutes, to cover inbound/mailbox airtime while having the "No Talk" plan. In my case, while switching between countries, I see no practical need for the "Unlimited Provincial Talk"-flatrate as a minimum plan, to be able to do basic talk (inbound mailbox calls). There really should be an add-on with talk minutes the "pay as you go"-way for provincial calls as well. Right now you can lower the monthly plan to CAD 10/month+taxes, which is great for idling (being outside the country), but if you do that, you can't use your mailbox, because of not having provincial talk minutes. And you can't use your "US and Canada Long Distance" add-on as a substitute to cover those provincial calls on such a plan. That's kinda limited. On the data side you are able to have data "pay as you go": While selecting "No Data" in the plan, you can still get a working data add-on. There's room for improvement. 😉 Thanks!

PS:

I now realize, that Public Mobile is not that flexible as I thought in the first place.

Rogers and Fido are the only providers with a real pay-as-you-go scheme, which means no monthly fee. Although you are cought in a top-up obligation (CAD 100/year), which is at the end lower than the lowest price plan Public Mobile offers), but thankfully that money can be burnt with occasionally bought data add-ons, so it's not wasted (which is wasted, with Public Mobiles No Talk/No Text/No Data CAD 10/month+tax plan). Besides that, they allow international roaming...
