Since this forum is our resources for help with no access to a direct customer service agent in person, it would be cool to see the moderators who do work for Public Mobile called Certified Moderators (aka CMPM - Certified Moderators Public Mobile). It will show the responses is a certified, knowledgeable staff member, and the rest of us helpers, do not need to say 'I am not a mod. Do not send me a private message with your info.'

Everyone who does respond is excellent for just helping others who are either stuck or having issues. I had a problem starting out and tried a few things but didn't work, but once I found a response from a moderator, it worked like a charmed. And when I needed other questions answered, the other spoken-out regulars worked just as well too.

Call me anything you like, but don't call me late to dinner... I am not sure how this enhances the user experience. Many people put I am not a mod because from time to time, new users do send private message to members at large. I have had a few myself.

As stated I am not sure how this would help as even with my "not a mod" statement I still get them from time to time so people do not always read everything.  The Moderator_Team user name should be enough for people to realize they are a Mod and if the MOD responds under there own user name is is in BOLD with a MOD tag after it.  Not sure why we would even need more.  You can't clone that so no need to add Certified, to that title as well.

I agree with @ShawnC13 and @will13am... All mods are already "certified mods"...

Actually, I'm going to be a bit of a contrarian here.  I've actually had some concerns with the "moderator" title for a while, epecially for anyone new here and looking for help.   In most online communitiies or forums, "moderators" are just forum admins or assistants.  I think the term isn't quite right for our moderator team, whom are actually customer support reps or customer experience reps or something of that nature.  While I don't know that "certified moderators" is the right term, I do think they could be named better to make it clearer for those seeking help.

Putting myself in the shoes of a newbie here, looking for activation or plan help for example, I'd be looking for customer support and not for forum moderators.  I would be hesitant about sending forum admins my private info.  It could be clearer.

I think @srlawren makes an excellent point. Unless you know the moderators are Public Mobile representatives it would be easy to brush them off as simply forum administrators.

Telling new members of the community to direct message "Customer Support" or something akin to that, would be more confidence inspiring.
