Make the forgot password function actually work

The forgot password function doesn't work. I used it six times. The email took hours to arrive, then when I clicked on the link, it said it had expired. I finally got one within the time limit, clicked on it, and it asked me to enter my existing password!

Forgot password is one of the most frequently used functions in an online environment. There really is no excuse for it not working.

Great idea.  I have read a lot of complaints about the time sensitive reset timing out before people actually receive the email.  This is the first I heard of being asked for the old password in a forgot password reset process.  This is really lame.  BTW, if you are still having issues with password reset, send a private message to a moderator and have them help out.
