List of Current Staff/Mods

I am noticing that we have people tagging Mods that haven't been on in over month so not sure if they are still working for PM or not.  I plus many others have asked for a Mods online pane on the main page

Can we add to that idea to have all Mods listed in a pane and when they are online a green light by there name.  I know all mods get notification when a mod is tagged but having the ability to tag MODS that no longer work here or aren't active is not productive,  I think you can capture two things at once.  A list of  Active Mods and then a light (green dot) when they are online.

Note that mods are often still around even when they're not logged into the forums.  So this won't necessarily tell very much, and in fact might piss some people off when they see that no mods appear to be online.

Public Mobile has hours of service wher it tells us when mods are "on duty" I think they should have one showing at those times at least.  if this isn't possible maybe make it so you cant tag mods as there is no point in tagging someone that hasnt been on since early December.

@ShawnC13 - where does Public Mobile post these "on duty" hours of service?

A simple workaround which PM can implement to address this "issue" (if they haven't already done so):

All PM mods - active, inactive, retired, abducted by aliens, etc - should eternally remain listed (for this purpose) in the mod pool.  Never remove their names from the list.  Just in case people flag and tag mods long after they're gone.  It sometimes happens, it can sometimes happen again, it's just the nature of the beast when issuing support through online visitors (who often grab the first thing they find that appears relevant to their problems) on online forums (which store and accumulate years and years of activity onto search engines).

I suspect PM can figure out what to do if they ever happen to hire (for example) another "Shazia_K", lol, but it doesn't seem a very likely nor an unresolvable sort of situation.

In all honesty, I don't really see the problem with tagging mods who no longer work here.  How many times do you tag a mod that DOES work here, and a different mod responds any way?

When are the community moderators available?

• Community Moderators are available from Mon-Thursday 9am(EST) to 9pm(EST) and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9am(EST) to 5:30pm(EST)

Along with using stickies, having some kind of banner to show which moderators are online would be useful.  My workaround is to friend every moderator.  You can status the friends list.

I would actually like a @MOD option seen as it just goes to them all anyways when you tag one.
