Hello,
In order to help customers conduct successful research into one or more phones, I suggest establishing a library of user guides. This would ideally reduce the repetitive number of identical/similar questions asked in the community, if the customer can find the answers that one is seeking in the user guides.
Almost all companies produce their guides as PDFs, and are meant to benefit the customer, if used. The availability of such guides means that a library of them could be created.
What I envision is a permanent "sticky post", whereby customers are encouraged to send a PDF copy of their phone's user guide to a special PM email address. If the customer does not have a guide, one would be directed to gsmarena.com to acquire it via that site. All user guides received by PM would have their publication or last revision date checked to ensure currency.
In due course, and this is ideal, those self-motivated customers would find it unnecessary to ask their questions in the community. Those asking would be limited to those who did no research, and those who did, but the user guides did not offer a resolution to their problems.
Ideally, reading one's user guide would lead to a better informed and competent user. I believe that a sense of community could be fostered, and more responders being created by reading user guide after user guide, while recalling the replies posted in this community.
