Hi everyone
I noticed this seems to be a common problem so my idea would be to allow the iMessage/facetime activation number to go through as an exception so it can activate on iPhones.
Don't know if this is possible and didn't notice it already in the ideas section.

Hi everyone !!

 I just wanted to comment that last night my phone did a carrier setting update and this morning I turned on imessage for the fun of it and it not only activated it also activated my number 🙂

Just an FYI, iMessage and Facetime can be activated over wifi however activation times can take up to 48hrs if you do not have an applicable data plan. The best way to get your iMessage and facetime to activate is to log out of the account and log back in over wifi usually this does the trick for most.

 I have kind of missed using the imessage as it was a way for me to communicate with my kids school and such but now it seems to be working perfect( i just tested it on the husband)lol

lol yes i know that and thats not how i wanted to use it.i wanted to use it with my number as well as my email. i couldnt do that before until now but thanks for the advice 🙂
