Hi everyone
I noticed this seems to be a common problem so my idea would be to allow the iMessage/facetime activation number to go through as an exception so it can activate on iPhones.
Don't know if this is possible and didn't notice it already in the ideas section.

For anyone on iPhone and the new plans I think iMsg is a pretty big selling point.

While I don't have an iPhone personally, my wife does and losing iMessage was a definite downside to her moving over to PM. If they could activate text to the activation number, that would be a huge selling point! Cheers

I've moved my iMessage and FaceTime to my Apple ID but having a phone number available is an added convenience. I can start a message from my phone # without having to explain the email address when a message is sent. Not a deal breaker for me, but I think a lack of convenience for many users.

I absolutely love the service offered by PM but this seems to be a major issue especially for iPhone users and slightly for others who use short codes for messaging as they don't work either. I'm looking forward to either iMessage being exceptionally allowed or short codes being included in unlimited messaging.

Hello, Though this is not the full resolution that you are seeking, the only short code allowed in a texting plan is 5130. If you text 5130 with your postal code, you will receive within seconds a text listing nearby businesses that sell payment vouchers. FYI.

Hey @Martin I haven been able to get it to work. The short code you reference to either on my iPhone or on the moto g. It just sends back that I can't text outside of Canada but when I try it on my koodos it tells me to use public mobile lol. Anyone else having this problem?

Hi hunnybunny, On my first attempt at texting 5130 with my postal code, I received a return text congratulating me on winning a free all-expenses-paid boat cruise to Saskatchewan. Just kidding! On my first attempt with my 2013 Moto G, I received a list of nearby businesses selling vouchers. Cheers.
