Have a pop up saying Did you try searching for this before posting?

SOOOOO MANY DUPLICATES!

Have a pop up to stop people from posting the same topic over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over a... it would've been faster to copy and paste that... sigh. 

There should be some kind of notice to prompt users to USE the search. chances are they will find 100 posts of the same issue and instead of waiting for a response, they can trouble shoot it. Like I said before 95% of posts can be resolved by reading previous posts (or the knowledgebase)

I agree with your concern.

A pop up on every post might get annoying.  Maybe when you first enter the community page a single pop up or big flashing box to reminded people to search the repository wuold be a good idea.
