I was looking at Plans, and I was like, how can PM improve it even better?

For 30 day, currently it's

1,2 and 4 GB

What if PM had 1,3,5 GB

OR

1,2,3,and 5 GB

90 Day,

3,6,12 GB

What if

800 MB, 3, 7, 9 and 12 GB

Some PPL call this frills, BUT sometimes CERTAIN Frills is a necessity, and since PM created the Buffet style Pick what U want and Pay, well, Perhaps this may bring some Balance, and maybe create the positive atmosphere that may help PM in the long-term

Just saying, I feel PM should always keep an open mind, sometimes the options available may entice PPL to make the switch, and maybe create new ventures PM can ride upon.

Hoping some PM Clients can at least agree to some extent

Keep the Public debating

To correct on 30 Day

Or, 30 Day, 500 MB, 1,2,3,and 5 GB

OR

500 MB, 1,3 and 5 GB

I like more choices, but why would the 30 day plan have 500MB, while the 90 day has only 800 MB?  That's like cutting the data allotment for the 90 day almost in half, per month.  Why not 30-d 500MB, 90-d 1500MB?  Or 30-d 250MB, 90-d 750MB, if we go the other way?

Well let's have a 57.6 day package with 6.3 MBs.

<sarcasm off>

The simplicity of the current plan offerings or 10, 30, or 90 days, with the addition choices of talk, txt and data is beautiful.

I would bet that the majority of consumers looking for any plan can find what works for them here.  Providing anymore choices would scare some away.  I go to a coffee shop and I get a large black coffee, because I know I can get it.  I don't want a menu full of choices, because believe it or not, I stress when there are mocha this, frappachino that, and cafe America o.  Too many options!!

no frills carrier, keep as simple as possible.

I agree, sometimes too many choices just cause confusion. I think 3 choices under each category is the right number of options. Now, I am open to discussing what those 3 should be.

@makkahn28 what's the problem you are trying to solve here?  While "flexibility" is good, I think you may be asking to introudce unnecessary complexity.  Why not keep the plan amounts as they are and concentate on your other idea you logged recently around the add-ons?  They clearly are far more in need of overhaul, as $30+/GB is a ridonkulous cost.  The plan amounts are actually pretty darn good as is, and if there were a more affordable add-on offering to bridge any gaps, I think we'd be further ahead.

@makkahn28 they have same increase on both sets

1, 2 & 4 (30 days) is same thing as 3 (1x3), 6 (2x3) & 12 (4x3)

Putting in odd numbers especially the 7 for 90 days will seriously confuse people (7/3 = 2.33GB per month?)

800MB for 3 months is kind of silly (does anyone use Mobile Browsers these days?) and increasing beyond 4GB sounds good in theory but will never work (since cost becomes too much at that point, $80+ per month?)

@kav2001c I agree, I love the how the current 1,2,4 30 day plans are equivalent and easily calculatable to (3x1),(3x2),(3x4) amounts on the 90 day plans.  And 800MB would be very little for 90 days.  True, some people might only need that, but, given that PM have already refused to bring back the 1GB 90 day plan, why on Earth would they entertain introducing even less??  Not likely to happen.
