Hi! I would like to propose some little suggestions to enhance the system. Here they are:

 

  • When someone goes to the main page of the PM website, the is a banner on top of the page that says “Our company is in BETA, and we want your feedback. Tell us what works, what doesn’t, and what you’d like to see.” However, if the user clicks on feedback, it goes to a page with more information. But there is no place to enter a feedback. I understand the need to say that the company is in beta but that should be it, with no link because a would not have feedback (yet).
  • When I am logged in, if I click on Account, it asks me to log in again, which is a bit redundant? If I am logged in, I should be able to go directly to my account page.
  • When I enter the Community page, it would be easier if there was a button at the top saying “New Topic”. For some people, if they go to the Community page, it is only to start a new topic. It would be more convenient.
  • On the same page, I would suggest that the personal message icon (the LITTLE icon of an envelop) could be bigger, so that a new user can see it more easily.
  • On the page profile, the field for the first name is too short.

 

Those are only suggestions that maybe other users would approve. 🙂 Thanks.

About the requirement to sign in separately for the selfserve account, its by design.  Community account is kept separate from the service account.  Probably for added security for the selfserve where there is more confidential personal + payment info is stored and the enduser has far greater control.  Whereas the Community is for customers and non-customers alike.. and needs not much personal info at all to access.
