Combine Latest Posts into Single Topic

Replies are currently displayed saperately one by one.

 

I suggest to combine comment posts into single feed (remove the post that is not recent anymore) and display only recent one. This way it will be eaier to navigate between New Topics and New Replies (Latest Post).

I agree and also suggested this earlier today during the hangout call.  David will look into this so we may have this implementation very soon.

I exchanged 'Latest posts' for 'Latest topics' earlier this afternoon. Let me know if this was what you were thinking about when you made your suggestion.

@David_J That is NOT what we want. 

We want the list of Topics that have most recent replies. Right now, we will only see the most recent topics (new main posts), not replies. 

For example, if someone replies in the old 4GB/$40 promo plan Announcement Topic, this topic should bump up in the Latest Post list. That is how it was before you made changes, but it listed all recent replies even though replies that were not recent anymore due to another new recent reply. The problem was that if 2 users replied in the old topic, Latest Posts list listed both even though its in the same topic. We wanted to combine these replies into one and only show the most recent reply instead of listing both replies. Latest Post should only show replies that are recent, if someone replied, it should automatically figure that previous listed topic reply is not recent anymore and so don't display.  

With the new change, if someone replies to old Topics, that topic will not show up in the list of Latest Topics because its a Latest Post not Topic. So this is not what we want.
