Public Mobile should have a plan where customers who travel often to the US for work or to visit family, could use their plan like at home. If a Canada US plan was $50 and up I'd pay. I go to the US often as I have family there. I know family members who are looking for a good Canada US plan because they spend 2 or 3 weeks at a time in the US. I'm sure businesses would join the network if something was available.

I sense something like this won't be coming to Public Mobile because it will compete with Telus.  To be honest, pricing is always cheapest when service is purchased locally.  For those who spend a lot of time in the US, a dual SIM phone and two service plans may be the way to go.

Rogers has the advantage here because you can use your phone plan for $5 a day in the US. Not sure if Telus does anything similar. But I would suggest a prepaid us SIM card for a US provider.

I can only see this happening if freedom network becomes decent because they have $15 for a month US roaming.

I have a T-Mobile pay as you go phone for use in the US. I was luck enough to get it before the new $3 a month minimum charge. So, I am on legacy. It's always going to be cheaper to use a local service. I realise this does not create a seamless service; using two phone numbers. But it works for me. It's a solution, but maybe not the best.

I THINK PM should consider this, COULD BE practical, and could still bring in those who like the PM model, and yet want more options

Should be possible
