I have noticed that if I start a thread, I have access to the accept solution button on a subsequent post within the thread. The system should never allow the OP to accept his/her own post as a solution. Please fix.
Ya.... I agree, but might be a loop-hole to start a subject / post issue, then already know the answer/solution and accept. Could rack up the rewards fast... but not really adding to the community experience.

Then we better go through them carefully and see if there is anything fishy. We have the ability to unmark the solution. And we often do when user select totally wrong/unfair post as a solution.
I think it would become fairly obvious, at least to PM, when someone is gaming the system that way. PM would have discretion in granting rewards or not when they see that happening, just as with bravo abuse.
I guess the same thing goes for bravos create a fake account and bravo all your posts. but since we really dont lnow the formula for how rewards are calclated i'm not sure its big issue. I have on occasion posted solutions to my posts ( cant remember why).
