@johnfpierce   How much data do you need and use regularly ?  If you're requiring quite a bit, then upgrading to a plan with more data would be more economical and perhaps the best deal currently for anyone requiring lots of data is the $55 plan with 20GB plus unlimited calls/texts.

You can buy as many 1gb add-ons as you like. You can do an immediate plan change to a bigger data plan. The preferred option is to do the plan change at your next renewal.
