I have the 50 doll.aer a month plan.  I should have unlimited calling.  But every now an then my phone says that I have

used up all my time.  I use data a lot to read the news. Is it possible that this is eating into my phone time??   Answer, solutions??

Good question. Your 10.5GB data is independent of your unlimited Canada / US talk minutes.

As already suggested above...sometimes those incorrect messages appear on your phone..just restart phone and ignore the message. Hopefully, PM can correct those erroneous notifications... someday.

@cjshepard  if you are still able to complete the calls you can ignore those messages, since you are on a unlimited calling plan.

But, to try and prevent those messages, try adding a '1' in front of the 10 digit number you are calling.

You can also try:

  • restarting your phone
  • toggle into/out of airplane mode
  • remove and reinsert your SIM
  • perform reset of network settings

If you are unable to complete the call, after performing above, then contact CSA to check your account.

Submit a ticket with Public Mobile Representatives customer support agents (CSA), by either two methods, found here:

@cjshepard   No worry, the "used up my time" is just a system glitch.  Usually just need to reboot your phone and it will correct the problem and you can make calls again

No worry, not because of the data
