Hey I put my sim card in my phone after activation but it's not working,there's just a arrow flashing saying insert sim

Presuming you used a new Public Mobile SIM card, which is required for every new activation, it certainly does sound like a contact problem issue:

1. Make certain of the correct orientation for the SIM card
2. Make certain that you've used the correct sizing adapter (included with Public Mobile SIM cards) if the SIM card tray is a larger size than the SIM card
3. Try gently rubbing an eraser along the gold colored contacts of SIM card and the contacts in your phone if they are able to be accessed 
4. Reset network settings under your phone's settings menu

That sounds like it's not being dectected. Check if it's all the way in, crooked, or upside down. Look at the notch and look at for a diagram that shows which direction it goes. Usually, it contact side down (towards back of phone if sliding into a tray on side of phone or towards front of phone if it goes under a cover under a back over).  Try cleaning the contacts on the sim.  Also, look if the sim is being put in the mciro sd card slot in error (some phones use one slot for dual function but some don't).

Sound like the SIM is not fully engaged perhaps. Remove your SIM for a few minutes, then gently reinsert it.

Do you have a dual SIM phone? If so, try the SIM in the other SIM slot.

Try one or more of the below:

*turn off your phone, leave off for a few minutes, then reboot

*go into airplane mode for a few minutes, then going back to regular mode

*reboot your phone again

Also, can you try this SIM into another compatible phone and see if it works?
