Hi,

Is it better to get an actual physical sim card or the e-sim card?

I actually disagree on this one. Yes, a back in "the day" I used to prefer SIM cards cause I can move it from phone to phone. The transition was easy. Now, because I use two iphones, no need to go back and forth. I now prefer eSIM as it leaves my SIM card slot open so I may use other providers SIM cards if I need or when I go on vacation and use an overseas SIM card. And if you lose your phone, all you do is download the app on the new phone, log in and download a new eSIM at no charge rather than spending $10 on a new SIM card. Food for thought.

I am with @hairbag1  and prefer the SIM for transfer for one phone to another. With eSIM you need to purchase a new eSIM for the new phone:

Thank you! That makes sense.

I prefer a hard sim because if I get a new cellphone, that sim can just be transferred whereas an esim works only 1 time.
