sim card question

when i change from 3 G to 4 or 5 G do I need a new sim card?  Do I need a new sim card when I get a new phone?

BTW, you can try an eSIM instead of the old one if your new phone supports it

when you buy a new phone, you may need a new sim...make sure to ask that question when you buy the phone. The sim came in a 3 part cutout and you took the size that fit the old phone. If buying phone from a reputable retailer, there's a very good chance that they might have a free sim adapter to make you sim fit. Worst case...if you need a new sim...it's easy to change the sim number in your account...you don't need to start a new one.

@MCRAPPER no new sim card needed. The same sim card can be used on 3G/4G/5G network

But size might matter for new phones. All new phones are nano sim. But your old sim card, even full size , should have frames removable to make it nano in size
